Matriculation
WHOM WE SERVE
Children may join our studio when they turn 12 months old and are toddling. Children attend our program until the age of 3, at which time we help them transition to a preschool program. Please contact us to learn more about how this process would work for your individual child and family, as each child will have a slightly different timeline based on their age and development.
NOTE: We serve children between 12 months and 36 months. If your child is older than 36 months or younger than 12 months, we cannot accept them to our program. At the bottom of this page you will find the Louisville Montessori options for children ages 3+.

Magnolia Montessori is an active and intentional community of families. Part of the Wildflower Network, we are constantly evolving as we practice expressing our purpose, individually and collectively. One aspect of this practice is something we define as “discernment;” that is, we distinguish carefully through a thoughtful process of opening ourselves to increased intimacy and vulnerability through sensory, cognitive and emotional experience. This is what we are asking you to do as you consider pursuing participation in our community as your child possibly matriculates.
To help with this process of discernment, we ask you to consider the information contained on our Community page.

TUITION
Tuition and fees are contracted for each student on an annual basis. Tuition contributes to the overall cost of educating each child, including teacher salaries, materials, operations, and overhead. Fees are assessed annually to provide the cost of snack, supplies, and activities for each student. Tuition is prorated by month for children enrolling after the start of the school year.
Magnolia Montessori School strives for absolute financial transparency, as well as striving to make our school inclusive to families living at all income levels--in the spirit of reflecting the Louisville community and valuing all families, regardless of their means.
